I'll be working the phones to see if we can book through a US carrier tomorrow AM...who knows... Mrs BC just asked how much I would be willing to spend to go with another airline....god knows the Rock Show is priceless, but there is an economic reality at play. As it looks like a long shot to make Thursday's show, I would say this...If the band has any kind of inclination to play Angels and Fuselage this weekend could they kindly wait to Friday or Saturday...

Wow, that sucks. Don't know the driving times from up there, but Logan (in Boston) seems to be doing ok and Portland ME may be worth checking as well. Good luck and hope to see u there!

Downtown Athens, Georgia from David Ferguson and WUGA - Athens-Clarke County Police just called the station and asked to urge everyone to stay off the roads. There's black ice everywhere and they've seen more accidents in the last 2 hours than in the last four days combined. Don't drive unless it's an emergency!

Well, we are not going to let folks drive from NY, Wisco, etc. and not make the trip from ATL ourselves. It'll be slow going but Amy and I will be there!

I'm still on the fence about coming up for tonight's show. I'll be heading north from FL panhandle. What's the best (safest) route? What should I avoid?
I would stick to the interstates, as that is where most of the clean up effort has been concentrated. Most of it around our house is melting and my wife went to work this morning. A normal 10 minute drive took her almost an hour, but it's navigable. We are heading up from ATL around 6 pm.
