We made it! Our flights from CT were cancelled, but no way in hell were we missing these shows. Took a train to DC on Tues night, then got a rental car Wed am and drove to Athens. Bill in CT joined us for the fun. Feeling really lucky to be waking up in Athens this morning, safe and sound. We were lucky enought to get here in time to say hi to the 3dd crew and have a few much needed drinks last night. Ready to rock!

[UPDATE] Turns out that extra hour an emergency took at work was balanced out by Delta thoughtfully delaying my departure by an hour and a minute. What grandmotherly kindness!

Flyin out of Buffalo tommorrow morning for my first trip to Athens.
Can't fuckin wait. The best thing: My brother just moved there from his
job in Paris, FR. He is now a resident of the Town! We're from Niagara Falls, NY.
Hopefully this will be the first trip of many. We got tickets for Friday's show, but
something tells me he'll make his way to tonight's show as well. Have
fun everyone, and make em feel good. Playing songs that are unfamiliar to an audience
can be hard for a band sometimes. Let em know ur there!

Well I made it here, staying at the apparently less happening Marriott. But I really dont plan on spending too much time in my hotel room. If I told anyone that I would bring their NYE in NYC flyers with me, I do have them and just get in touch with me, room 239 at the marriott. Ready for the Rock Show!

Here. Finally. Arrived at the hotel at the exact same minute as gator mcklusky & his friend. Flight was a breeze, connected w/ jack flash & emily like clockwork, but the driving sucked, not really sure why, just tons n tons of sloooooow traffic. Anyway...HERE!!! In fuckin' Athens GA for the DBT Homecoming!!! Who woulda thunk it? Not me.
