This is awful. I am so sorry. I loved her in Crystal with Billy Bob Thornton. My thoughts are with Ray and the rest of her family.

I admit I never heard of Ms. McKinnon but she must have been a really good actress because I sure do remember the evil girlfriend Lynette from Officer and a Gentleman. Caused that naive Navy guy to hang himself in the motel bathroom. What a great role.

As a fan of Ray's films I am very shocked and saddened to hear this. I may have seen her in some other movies outside of her work with Ray but probably didn't know who she was at the time. I don't think I've ever even seen An Officer & A Gentleman.
