Re: dbt tracks # 22 - Outfit

Their versatility is what separates DBT from the pack. I love this 'pop' side of them. John Henry & Carl Perkins Cadillac might be more pop than Nine Bullets, but not really better than that one. The same band that does Outfit does Lookout Mountain, Women Without Whiskey, I'm Sorry Huston &...

Happy birthday, Cooley! You look better in 44 than Reggie Jackson.... I'm surprised you found out how old Cooley was. I always assumed he and Patterson were my contemporaries but their ages and birthdates are hidden like a national secret! They took my driver's license When I was just sixteen... Th...

This might be old news, but the best thing I heard from the interview was that The Secret To a Happy Ending will definitely be released on DVD, hopefully in late fall. You're right. This is epic news. I've seen it. You'll like it. Lots of inside info on the Truckers and interviews that show their p...

Re: The DBT Top 100

I don't even like country music, and Love Like This is not only one of DBT's best songs to me; it is one of the greatest songs ever written (in my humble estimation). No problem Slip. I like that song too just with all the great songs DBT has I can't say that it is the second best - but that's why ...

You gotta love it when they put the mic in the shrubbery!

I guess Summer Cousins is what they called the band when Shonna played bass before she was a member of the band?

There are a bunch of Marriott owned properties in Richmond ( Courtyard, Residence Inn, etc. ) but only two Marriotts.
One called Richmond Marriott West - which is much farther away from The National and the Richmond Mariott at 500 East Broad Street - which is the one you want.

Such a stunning, and powerful song. I've sure lived it in my days. I believe on the Cooley's House bootleg, he says "this is a love song for my bass player", so I really think it's about Shonna (just like I think You Got Another is about Jason). We have a winner!!! Thanks for the hearfelt...
