I'm excited about TWO shows in my backyard for a summer weekend. It will be like a "mini homecoming" for me and the growing list of DBT lovers here around Winston-Salem.

Cooley has actually used that sound before (sometimes on When the Pin Hits the Shell and sometimes on lead for Zip City). I was a couple of people back from the stage and am pretty sure that this was a Cooley sound. I can't remember his full list of pedals, but it is on there somewhere.

Looks like me and the Mrs. are in for some rock. A weeknight hurts, but I would hate myself in the morning if I missed a North Carolina DBT show.

Nice find on this article TC. We have all heard about the grind of this tough business and this shows that perfectly. Most of us already appreciate the "sacrifice for the art" side of our favorite artists, but stories like this make me appreciate their work even more.
