Re: 2020 Tour Dates! THERE ARE SO MANY

Drive-By “Fuck The Midwest” Truckers up to their typical shenanigans... Last time I checked Indy, Chicago, St Paul, and St Louis were in the Midwest The Midwest is comprised of 12 states. That’s four shows, spread widely across four states, with no two night stands. No Ohio? No Southeast Michigan? ...

Re: New Braunfels TX - Gruene Hall

Fantastic show last night. Lots of jaw dropping moments, none bigger than a killer version of Carl Perkins’ Cadillac to open.

It’s a bummer they were up against curfew because it seems like given the opportunity they would have played forever. They were having a blast and we were too. :)

Mr. B!!! No shit, glad to hear you’ll be there.

Either I owe you a beer, or you owe me one (I think it’s the former). Either way, we’ll make it right. See ya tomorrow!

Re: Homecoming 2020! Feb 13-15 (presale starts 11/13)

Hopefully the band is still going in 20 years when I retire, because that will be the only time mid-February will be open for me to see them Out of curiosity, what type of job do you have that would prevent you from taking two vacation dates in mid February? Personally I wouldn’t mind some March da...

Message boards are BY FAR the best platforms for intelligent discussion and review. I’m wondering how many people on FB actually know this site exists? I’ll still come here regardless and post if I’m interested in a topic. With that said, I love checking out the set lists after the shows and I’ll al...

An impossible task. Uncle Frank, Women Without Whiskey, Zip City, Carl Perkins Cadillac. Not so impossible, you got 2 out of 4 right and were close on the other two! :D :D WWW, Ramon Zip One of these Days strongly considered, but ended up 5th, 6th and 7th on my list: Devil Frank Carl Perkins I thin...

I tried to choose his four best but if we are going career spanning maybe something like:
Uncle Frank, Zip City, A Ghost To Most/Birthday Boy, Ramon Casiano.

Re: New solo Springsteen record coming in June

This is something that fascinates me about music. I think Magic, Working On A Dream and High Hopes are completely without merit. Not one redeemable quality to any of them. I think the first and last songs and the title track of Western Stars are some of the best Springsteen songs in over a decade. ...

Re: North of the Border

I started to ask but figured I would leave it alone. But since it has been brought up, what’s the deal? It’s the same person who wanted to hear Lisa’s Birthday, Daddy’s Cup, and Carl Perkins Cadillac. I’m guessing he called Cooley a pussy/sissy because he didn’t play any of those songs. I’m just sp...

Great shows but what's the chances Cooley will play Daddy's cup Lisa's birthday Carl Perkins Love these songs but have a feeling he'll repeat a handful of songs like last night I don’t see any of those happening. Carl *should* have the highest chance because he played it with The Dimmer Twins but e...

Setlist speaks for itself. Epic. I absolutely loved Heroin Again. I thought the song was forgotten so it was great to hear Patterson say it’ll be on the new record and then just slay that version. Other than that, I genuinely can’t talk highlights because the whole show was something else. I guess y...

The guy was a little annoying at times and certainly could have brushed up on some history/did some minor research but I think Cooley really enjoyed and fed off of his enthusiasm. Good listen.

Great openers for Brooklyn.

Interesting that Lee’s Palace website (Toronto ) advertises all three shows as “An Evening With...” I wonder if that will hold true. I’ve never seen the band without support and I think it would be cool but I generally find the openers to add to the overall experience.
