Re: Most disappointing albums of 2010

I can't wait for Go Go Boots. The Big To-Do is my least favorite DBT record. Wow. It's by far my favorite album of the year and probably ranks 4th or so in DBT albums. I'm with everyone else on THS though. Very dissapointing and the production is awful. Yeah I can't get behind this TBTD being disap...

Re: Most disappointing albums of 2010

I disagree, I think it's very good. Twenty Miles and Hand In My Hand are both great don't get me wrong, their are some good tracks on this album, but there are far too many tracks that are very forgettable. But perhaps I need to lower my expectations. Maybe they're just a decent band that makes alb...

Most disappointing albums of 2010

Deer Tick - Black Dirt Sessions it picks up a bit in the second half but the first few songs with the exception of Blood Moan are extremely mediocre. I'm not sure why we needed a re-worked arrangement of Christ Jesus when the original wasn't very good to begin with. I thought War Elephant was really...

Well if you're going to rule out arenas you might have a tough time making that one happen.

Re: Who's Everyone Seeing Live?

Going to check out the Besnard Lakes on Cain's second stage this Friday night. I'm pumped. It's not often that Canadian indie bands of that caliber make a stop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I saw them at SXSW and didn't care for them. I was suprised because I figured I would like them from what I had read. j...

Still nothing on who the opener will be on either the cain's or dbt site When I saw them in Columbia a few weeks ago, they didn't have an opener. I was thinking maybe this would be a similar show? I'm beginning to think that myself, considering we're now within a month of the show date and no opene...

ACL Fest 2010 lineup released

Some very solid mid tier acts but wow that's the worst trio of headliners I've ever seen on their lineup (in my humble opinion).
