Re: Jason Isbell - Reunions
After multiple listens on good cans, I really believe these songs will crush it live.
The only thing that didn't really standout was Amanda's fiddle. Just didn't really fit in the mix.

Here's a link to Cooley's show. According to Noonchorus, it's unclipped.

Jason Isbell - Reunions
Jason really changed things up on this one. Lots of electric guitar and some interesting War on Drugs like melodies.
I didn't listen to the early releases, as I usually wait for the vinyl. I'm glad that I did.

Re: DBT Quarantine Livestreams
Patterson's audio and video were one of the best I've seen/heard streaming.
Pro Tip: If the stream starts clipping switch from 5g to 2.4. It sounds ass-backward, but it worked for me.
He set a pretty high bar for Cooley tonight. Love to see that banjo beside the Makers.

As a railbird retiree, I must comment on the light show/crew. From the soundboard, they were exceptional.
Dittos to all of the other thoughts.
That run of SRO songs was masterful.
On to the best rock club in the Northeast.

Love a good backread.
I thought Hotel Parties was pretty good. This sounds even better.
Been on my list to catch a show. Missed them in Philly this last time.
Need to work on that.

Nice summary. Loved the extended guitar work. I thought Sadler added quite a bit to the vocals as well.
One dbt song would have been nice.

Supposedly getting TMs "Fan Protection" from scalpers.
I'll reserve judgment.
DC and Philly venues will be perfect for these shows.

However you feel about the Hold Steady, I highly recommend catching Craig Finn's band. He's put together a solid group of musicians.

Re: Sellersville - Dimmer Twins
Shows like these make me wish I had seen some of the Dirt Underneath shows. In the stripped down and intimate environment, you really get to see two guys at the top of their craft. I was constantly amazed at how I could hear every note and watch their fingerpicking skills. Cooley's work on Patterson...
