The Austin show mentions a "Spotify Presale Code". Anyone know where to get that?

Re: PH & Cooley Solo Shows, November and December

Cooley - Paramount Stateside - 12/1 Normally I keep setlists on my phone, but we had seats right up front and middle. I mean, I could have unplugged his monitors if I wanted to... I was worried about my phone being distracting to Cooley and myself, so hopefully someone else grabbed it. Cooley playe...

Re: Looking for Red Rocks Recommendations

I saw DBT at Red Rocks pre-pandemic. I can't remember what year, because time gets really weird for me to measure prior to the lockdown. I recall we had a normal president, and it...yes, must have been 2016. The boys played "The Bitch is Back" I think as kind of a prelude to Hillary getting elected,...

"21st Century USA" was dedicated to me (thank you Patterson!) and "Heathens" was dedicated to Kevin aka Kevidently aka Kevbot. "Shake and Pine" was of course for jimmyc.
I want "Assholes" dedicated to me tonight.
So self-aware! :D  ;)

What a loss. I saw Fleetwood Mac's tour a few years ago with Mike Campbell and Neil Finn - it was awesome and Christine sounded great. Always go to the show, I suppose. She will be missed.

Re: Who's Everyone Seeing Live?

Anyone heard anything recently about Fred Eaglesmith? I was playing a song of his I recalled the other day and realized it's been years since I've seen him live. Pre-pandemic, I kind of recall him basically signing up for a life on the road and living on a bus. Looks like he has not played a live sh...

Re: Sports Betting the Rhode Island Way

We haven't had a good sports betting convo around here since the days of deedee but I couldn't resist this one, reported to me by my son: The Rhode Island sports book lists Argentina at +500 to win the World Cup. The line for either Argentina or Wales winning the World Cup is +750. Think about it. ...

Now that control of the Senate is a non-issue in Georgia, does Herschel Walker's bid go down in flames because the reality of Walker's lack of qualifications is no longer outweighed by broader concerns, or does the lowered intensity/impact of the race change voters calculations in other as yet unfo...

Re: Always Go To The Show (is now meaningless)

A friend said, “Always go to the show, right?” Yes and no. "Always go to the show means" don’t wimp out if you are holding a ticket and you are tired or work sucks or you don’t want to leave the house. It means, going to the show is important for your soul and I know it’s hard to go from work to a ...

An anti-Democrat Democrat platform is A-ok with me. IMO after this cycle, anyone over the age of 70 should be booted out of any leadership position. If the message is out of touch, we can start with the ones with mouthfuls of hard candy. My fear with that is that we'd end up with more serious lunat...
