Re: RIP LBROD

I am pretty sure that Rod didn’t have a mean bone in his body. I also know that if I randomly knocked on his door at 3am, he would take me in; he was that kind of guy. Rest In peace, my friend!

Well this community breathes a collective sigh of relief as Williams says, “ I’m retiring, but don’t blame clams!”

BTB, I was thinking of you and attorneys when I posted!!!! I guess I could google the definition of plagiarism, but the discussion is so much fun.

Plagiarism vs. imitation/the sincere form of flattery

I should probably have put those last few words in quotation marks since they are not my own!!!

Re: 3DD Artist o' the Week 9/13/2010 - Springsteen's Nebraska

I just read a great quote from Brian Williams (NBC) in which he referenced our country’s polarization and referred to “the darkness on the edge of town”. Williams is retiring (or at least taking a break) from journalism for such reasons. Is “darkness on the edge of town” a commonly used phrase? I wo...

Does anyone know if the 40 Watt has done or is doing anything to improve ventilation in the club?
Like previous concerts following the chili cook offs weren’t enough to prompt that question!!!

Thanks for the update, Doc.

I hope that things are still progressing well for Dean and Beth!

After Dean heals, I bet if he posed for a picture similar to the Cowboy Heart video above, copies of said picture would fetch a pretty penny in Nuccis Space auction!!!

I’d buy one and frame it for sure!

Great news!!! Thank you for letting us know. I am riding through Mississippi and was just thinking about Dean and Beth!

Thanks for letting us know, Doc! The last I heard last night Dean was getting a sponge bath…

I’m glad that things have gone well, and I hope that they continue to progress!!!

If my attire offends anyone should I take a lesson from that Homecoming legend from years ago…the one regarding the fan who removed all his clothing while rocking out??? I just don’t want to step on toes. Regardless, I’ll wear my clothes in the 40 watt line. January/February is cold in Georgia and I...

In regard to the DVD drive, concerts have been sparse since COVID, and I just had the idea of a "Real Housewives" style reality show with the band members from quarantine times. If it was anything like my house, you'd hear, "if I see you one more day in that same pair of boxers..." "But, baby, I wea...

Today’s news is awful. As happy as I will be to return to the 40 watt rail, it will feel so differently! I agree, but I’m still glad that I watched. I wouldn’t call the movie unwatchable by any stretch but it is probably not as good as the least exciting episode of the Sopranos. The tv show leaves such a high mark! ok but a little disappointing https://www.vitalthrills.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/sa...

Is “hauntingly beautiful” too much of a cliche? I’m sorry for your loss, Rocky! I immediately thought of “Brokedown Palace” which a friend has requested for his service. I’m listening to “Goodbye” now, and the guitar work is awesome, but hey, it is a DBT song! I too am listening to the song for the ...
