Watched the 4K restoration of Close Encounters of the Third Kind this afternoon. Probably been 10 years since I'd watched it, and the new restoration is beautiful! I was two when it came out, so this was my first time seeing it on a big screen, and it definitely still has the "wow" factor.

My condolences. My Mom was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2000, and passed in 03. The hole in my heart is still large, but I've learned not to dwell on it.
