Re: 2014 Album Releases
Jimbo Mathus has a new album coming out on Tuesday: Dark Night of The Soul. Confederate Buddha and White Buffalo were both great albums. Hopefully this will be a hat trick.

Ethan Miller. hell yeah.
also, King Buzzo.
Williamson is the better guitarist, but I love those first two Stooges albums way more than Raw Power.
Has anyone mentioned Mike Ness?

was heartless bastards this year? Arrow was last year. A bunch of my favorite artists released good to great albums, but nothing earth shattering. That sums up my take on 2013. So far this year's highlights in no real order are: Jimbo Mathus: White Buffalo Queens of The Stone Age: ...Like Clockwork...

Only way this isn't a bullshit call by Neil Young is if Crazy Horse has already played their last show. If DBT can play a weekend without Patterson in DC and rock it all to hell, Neil could surely get by without Poncho for a night. It's one thing to cancel a gig or a few on your own tour, but not a...

Pleasantly surprised with it after two listens. The production is a little slick for my taste. A similar sound to Ozzy's No More Tears or Ozzmossis albums. Tony and Geezer carry the album, but Ozzy sounds okay. Thankfully he doesn't sound all autotuned like his last few solo albums. Also get the del...

I stated in the very first post that this version of Blackfoot was handpicked by Medlocke. The subject line also very clearly states that it includes no original members. To look at the broader picture, how many bands out there still have all of the original members? I'm sure there's more but off t...

New Clutch album around March. Clutch fans will be hearing a lean 'n' mean version of the band when the Maryland group releases its 10th album, "Earth Rocker," in the spring of 2013. "We really wanted to just write very concise, heavy songs," bassist Dan Maines tells Billboard ab...
