Question for european/dutch dbt fans
I'm trying to buy ticket for the Groningen show (Nov 18) in Holland, and did I understand correctly that tickets will be for sale only 2 weeks before the show? m If anyone can confirm it, bought/gonna buy ticket for that show or anything - I be happy to hear. I'm doing a crazy music trip this year. ...

I'm gonna have a nice few days here in June...
6/16 Devendra Banhart - Tel Aviv, Israel
6/18 Gov't Mule - Tel Aviv, Israel (this is so unreal, but it's happening)
Jeff Beck is also coming here in October.

Re: Birthday Boy From Jools Holland
Maybe a stupid question, but is this show filmed in the US or UK? I just always assumed it was filmed in the UK because the dude was british. Assuming things isnt the way to go, lol, so thought I would ask. In the UK I guess...It's part of the bbc studios I think. So I guess DBT jumped for a short ...

I guess Go Go Boots, cause it's the album title...And perhaps the other as well Why not? They're always writing a lot stuff and waiting for the right time. Guess a few Big To-Do outtakes will be there as well.

Re: SPIN's Top 125 of the past 25 years
Not my taste kinda list...I own only like 3-4 of this. A lot of artists & genres I dislike. And I hate U2...
I own a lot of albums from the past 2 decades. Kinda made me wanna make my own list. That's all this list did. It's also a very mainstream one.

It's hard, except for the very top it's always changing... The Derek Trucks Band Derek Trucks Band IS bad ass. The Songlines album is some of the best driving music I know of. Especially Sahib Teri Bandi - Maki Madni. I always blast that when driving up and over Monteagle Mountain. Derek is my favo...

Marc Ford - Fuzz Machine I didn't even know this existed I used to be really into Marc's solo stuff about two years ago but I haven't listened much since then... Weary & Wired is still really good though, and the man is a great guitarist. One of my favorite guitarist. Been lucky to see him with...

I also submit that the DBT/Bettye LaVette album is far inferior to her "I've Got My Own Hell to Raise" album. Potato Hole and Scene of the Crime are good, but I don't really hear DBT's contribution to them as being real apparent (though maybe that's what a good backing band does.....blend...

Re: Music Blasphemy
Potato Hole is a mediocre (at best) album. If DBT wasn't involved, nobody here would care about it. Actually I agree. I was very excited when it came out (The Truckers & Neil on the same album? wow!), and I didn't like the album. Wanted to love it, but it's a very medicore album for me. didn't ...
