Re: ATHENS 2012

I've got a couple of questions 1. Does anyone know how long it's likely to take to get through immigation at Atlanta airport? Would be good to know as trying to work out what time to book the transfer from the airport for. 2. Are there any good bookshops in Athens? I usually try to stock up on US S...

WNCW out of Western NC had a few tributes to him over the weekend, especially during "Going Across the Mountain". Saw him open for Neil Young last year in Spartanburg SC, my first intro to him. After listening to him over the weekend, I didnt realize that I knew more of his songs than I re...

the lyrics aren't among Patterson's best ("I used to love you / Now you suck" doesn't strike the tuning fork of my soul like his better work Maybe, but " I ain't exactly a no drug guy/Just don't dig the way that you get high " is one of my favorites. Love that line. I dig the so...

If anyone has 2 extra for Sat night, let me know please. Actually found an overnight babysitter(my sister) and would be awesome if this could be our first overnight away in over a year by ourselves. If not, have fun everyone, we will be there for the next homecoming shows.

At Bele Chere over the weekend, Jason was poking fun at them walking off stage. He mentioned something about the heat and if that strong breeze hadnt come through, him and the boys were walking off stage. Wasnt sure what he meant, until he mentioned something about those "pentecostal boys".

Switched the focus of my family room from tv/DVD to music. Nice shelf with all my vinyl and my stereo and the tv off in the corner. Works well for everyone and much nicer listening to a few albums on vinyl at night than watching shit on tv. Trust me zip, vinyl is worth the investment. Especially sin...

Re: Analogue DBT

Vinyl is very affordable. You just have to get movtivated to buy the gear. Turntables can be found at garage sales, thrift shops and pawn shops. The important thing is the cartridge and stylus. You can get these at a stereo shop or online. For around $120 you can buy a new turntable that will also ...

Man Wish we could make of these. If anyone has 2 extra for fri or sat night, I would be happy to take those. Along with plenty of others I guess. Babysitter couldn't commit until after they sold out. Centro-matic makes it that much more of a bad ass show. I am doing the nuci space raffle though. Kee...

Yeah, it does suck for those fans in the WB area, but as many times as they play Pa in a year, they are bound to catch another show. Happened to us going to the Xmas Jam in Asheville last year, but the number of times they play Asheville, we were able to get over it. But those poor fans in the scand...

Maybe the guy was smoking a cigarette and that's what he means about leaving real quick before his ashes hit the floor. Maybe the guy stays with a girl usually about that long. Look at AAW, it is not released and Patterson said dont pay for it, download it or burn it. That isnt the case with GB.
