Now I can exhale and watch the rest of the games this weekend stress-free You got lucky that the kid who was 0-for-a million from 3 kept chucking up terrible shots down the stretch Dude shoots those shots every game and he was 3-37 from 3 against the three elite teams he played this year, us, KU an...

I got 13 as well, I missed Baylor, Minnesota & Maryland. My 9-year old son got 15, only missed Minnesota, so he talked trash to me all the way to school this morning.

Re: College Basketball 2015-16

It seemed the committee did a better job this year than most, no big gripes here. One minor quibble is it seems Duke didn't get punished for losing without Zion, but UNC still got credit for beating them without him. I also didn't think it was fair to UNC to put Kansas as their #4 in Kansas City. Io...

Check out the “Conference tournaments” section of the article linked below for evidence that this year’s conference tournament results did not affect the committee as much as one might have thought. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/26281995/bracket-winners-losers The conferenc...

Re: College Basketball 2015-16

After giving it a whole day of thought, I’m willing to call yesterday the best Tennessee basketball game I’ve ever been to. Fantastic atmosphere, and obviously a favorable result. The only real contenders would be the 88-58 beatdown of Kentucky back in 2013 (even though UK was FAR from full strengt...

If y’all don’t hear from me after tomorrow, it’s because I was gifted a ticket to the UK-UT game and I think I might die from the stress before I even step into the arena. I got a feeling you'll be ok tomorrow. Looks like we are without Reid Travis again, and that's going to hurt bad against your f...

Re: College Basketball 2015-16

B, agree. I think ACC is gonna get two #1 seeds and three schools are fighting for the spots. Barring a collapse in ACC Tournament I see UVA as locked. If we beat dook and then have a good run in ACC Tournament we could get the other one. However, dook has the same option (though another loss befor...

I thought Kentucky was a top 3-4 team in basketball until last night. I still think they’re very good, but I’m pretty confident in this team. They feel like the first UT squad in my lifetime that can walk into Rupp EXPECTING to win. I expect to get back to my college weight one of these days too lo...

Apparently Davis was an assistant for both Tim Floyd and Larry Eustachy, prior to either being at ISU. Loved that effort yesterday. With the challenge having been renewed for 6 more years, it's time to get Kentucky into Hilton. That would be awesome, I might have to make a road trip to Ames if that...

Re: Creating While Clean (Isbell Content)

Great read. I have always disagreed with one characteristic of Isbell's drinking days: the shows didn't suck. I honestly enjoyed those sets more. Unpredictable, wild, shredding, rock and roll. But never sloppy train wrecks. Pretty obvious Jason was going to that place as soon as he got off the stag...

As a UK fan, I wish they could play UNC 5 times a year. Win or lose, the games are always so entertaining. Big win today, really needed that one. Ashton Hagans was a junkyard dog on the defensive end, loved watching him.

When I was little, I only knew of him through Hee Haw. I had no idea what a great player he was until an older cousin gave me an album he did with Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown. Such a great guitarist, RIP.
