i just counted and i've shot 20 shows so far this year, with 57 bands total. a bit behind last year's pace, but that's ok w/ me...last year was crazy.

my feelings are that selling an ipod loaded w/ songs is unethical. it'd be the same as buying a 1TB drive for $100, then selling it loaded w/ music or movies for more.

i listened to the Roky/Okkervil record last night, and while there some clear high point (esp 'Goodbye Sweet Dreams') it didn't grab me as a great record overall.
