Re: Go Go Boots and Secret To A Happy Ending Out Feb 15
This probably isn't much help, but pretty sure you can still get it as a Bonus Track when/if you download TBTD from iTunes.....but only if you buy the whole album, and surely anyone on TDD already has it in some format or another.

Re: Drive-By Truckers "Used To Be A Cop"
this is like the song wig was supposed to be...it's among my least favourites on the big to-do (still like it a lot though), this on the other hand...
Agree 110% on both counts. Shonna's bass is up front and badass and flat-out driving the song. Good stuff.

I think it is a reasonable price for the original piece. He will also do a commissioned portrait in that same price range. I emailed Jyl in late '04 about a commissioned piece I was thinking about having done for my business partner's birthday. While I'm way into Wes' style, before I pulled the tri...

Re: Value of DBT "stuff"
Not sure what to think of the I Do Believe single being auctioned on eBay, sounds like it fell into the wrong hands and that person chose to profit from it. Personally, I wouldn't consider them a "fan". Agree - was wondering that myself. I was hoping to "keep it in the family," ...

Value of DBT "stuff"
I was bidding a few days ago on eBay for a promo CD of "I Do Believe" (first track on upcoming GGB). I lost out after bidding $20 and going about my day. Was hoping I'd get it, but was also happy that another fan (hopefully) was snagging a little piece of DBT history for their own personal...

Who's Eugene? Maybe he's the same guy as Patterson's buddy Gene that drove them home from the BOC concert in Let There Be Rock OK, this may be totally nuts, and I don't want to get too deep on a Thursday night, but here are my thoughts on "Eugene." Knowing all that went down during the re...

Re: Richmond VA Oct 29-30
Phew. Just now recovered. Saturday night was certainly the best all-around DBT show I've seen in years. It had it all: almost 3 hours long, two great new tunes, the always-appreciated Patterson-Cooley laughing/interplay, Cooley with a big 'ol buzz, Neff smiling and into it (and on fire) and tossing ...

Been off the 3DD too damn long - I'm letting life get in the way Sorry if all this info is in the thread, but can someone let me (and others) know: 1) Where are the 3DD-ers gathering before the show SAT night? 2) Dinner and drinks, or just drinks? 2) What time? 3) You guys wearing costumes? 4) Anyth...

Smitty, been listening all week and loving it. Thanks bro! Is the Thanksgiving Filter from solo PH Alley Katz (Richmond) in maybe '07? If so, was there and loved the intimate setting. Wrinkle Neck Mules (two of them) opened - great band, btw. Crowd was a little chatty throughout, which Patterson not...

I am really hoping to make this one and see all you stalwart east coast 9B.....um.....3DD-ers there! And I agree, I think it will be a special one, given that it follows last year's "Cooley Show"/Patterson sick stand. Thought I read somewhere recently where PH said their (his) return to th...

As we know, played live for first time at Boulder Theater on May 13th. Thoughts? Really diggin' the lyrics and the smoldering pace. http://ia331218.us.archive.org/1/items/dbt2010-05-13.mc930.flac24/dbt2010-05-13t06.mp3 I gotta say, the "return" of the slide is a really welcome thing for me...

Clams, I asked the same question in an "old" 9B thread a few months back - you were able to scare up a bit more commentary than I was. I think it was in a "Best Lines in TBTD" thread. My interpretation was somewhat similar to RevMatt's. Sort of. Well, maybe not. Anyway, Dude is ...
