Went to AEW in Nashville a couple weeks ago. Second of their shows I’ve been to. Such a breath of fresh air in the industry.

What are the bonus tracks? Are they previously unreleased songs?

Original demos and live 2022 recordings. No unreleased songs as far as I can tell.

I was at the Knoxville shows where the live bonus tracks were recorded, and will testify to their quality.

With each new single and album I keep waiting on Childers to make a play toward the massive audience he’s built over the years, and he surprises me every time. Quickly becoming my favorite country artist of the last decade.

Seeing MJ Lenderman tonight in Nashville. Glad to finally catch him solo after the three awesome Wednesday shows I’ve been to.

A lot of great stuff so far this year, but the 3 that stand out to me are:

1. Wednesday
2. Jason Isbell
3. Lucero

Interestingly enough, in interviews he’s been referring to King of Oklahoma and a few other tracks as the “Old Assignment”, or songs he feels would’ve fit on the DBT albums he was part of.

In for the Maryville show in September. In case anyone needs convincing, it’s the world’s best covered outdoor venue located in a Harley-Davidson dealership that somehow has fantastic sound.

All of these Homecoming recordings are awesome, but this might be my favorite. Thanks for posting!

Watched this tonight, thought it was very well done. Did a particularly good job documenting Jason’s early life, his time with DBT (including some awesome commentary by Patterson), and the work that went into Southeastern and Reunions.

It’s worth the hype.
