Naaaah. Usually when that comes on, I just hit the backwards arrow button and listen to track #10 again ;) :)
I only wonder why "When the Well Runs Dry" wasn't on ABAAC!? C'mon now!

Re: NHL

Damn straight, Iowan! Best playoffs ever. Very interesting matchups. I can't stand the Rangers or the Caps, but I'd rather see the Caps take them down big time. Me, being all about Philly am pulling for them to kick Crosby's ass. Should be a heck of a series. Out in the west, I really want to see ho...

Re: DBT Track #99-100 Easy On Yourself/Daylight

I don't care for either of these songs, although I have heard a couple of acoustic versions of Daylight that work to some degree. I'll leave it to others why these didn't work, I just know they didn't. Hurt my appreciation of ABAAC for a long time, then I realized some of my very favorite tracks we...

Yes, there was a pretty decent write-up, just like the Philadelphia Inquirer. The word is out. (well, it's been out, but you guys know what I mean)

Damn that turned out to be a great Masters, as usual. That shot Bubba hit on the 2nd playoff hole was unreal. Possibly topples Phils shot or Sergio's at the PGA Championship in 99 at Medinah. Bubba! Yeah, Bubba was great. Phil, on the other hand: the triple bogies hurt him big time. Tiger: oh boy.

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday with good weather and a very happy Easter. The Masters final round today. I have been finding that the older I get, the more I appreciate the Masters every year. Cheering Phil on for that 4th green jacket. Go Phil!

Definitely rooting for Tiger. Also rooting for Captain Manboob himself, Phil. The Masters is a great event. As I've gotten older, I've learned to appreciate it more, and I don't golf either.

Re: Alabama Shakes

Does anyone know if they will make that EP available again (on disc) or is most if not all of it on the new album anyway. I was trying forever to get that in December, but it was sold out. As I mentioned a few posts back, I saw it at Target today but there's three tracks instead of four. Same cover...

I stopped by Vintage Vinyl this afternoon, the largest record store in NJ. The clerk told me they had a bunch of vinyl but sold out around noon. I have to come back on Thursday. Niiiiiiice. The way the major chord bridge pairs with the happy day lyrics I used to play football... and then goes back to the minor chord echoing the narrators despair, well that's just damned brilliant if you ask me . That is one thing I forgot to mention. TC hits the nail on the head with his comment about...

DBT Track #98: Used to be a Cop

Well, it's my turn this week (thanks Clams - glad to do this!) to cover the weekly track of the week. I decided to cover a newer tune, "Used to be Cop". Along with "Cartoon Gold", this is my favorite track off of Go-Go Boots. It took me a few listens before I 'got it'. The tempo ...

It may have just as much to do with me having an aversion to the Eagles in general and Henley specifically. At least no one has suggested that any of the DBTs cover a song by Train. I remember someone saying once that the DBTs reminded them of that band. Seriously?! Isn't Train the band with that s...
