Look`s like an awesome place for a show , the videos are amazing... Thank you for sharing with us . First time visiting there... and we ended up being a couple of minutes late for the start of the show due to not leaving the pub quickly enough! So, we ended up in the balcony at the front, was easy ...
I'm not familiar with Will's stuff, hopefully Dogstar may be able to help us out with this? Actually got no idea what Will played although I can say that all of the usual suspects who were there were completely blown away by Will. Will did do a cover of Vic Chesnutt's Independence Day straight afte...
We got treated to an awesome show in London last night. Will, Patterson and Craig were all on great form, Patterson did a stunning version of The Living Bubba, with a long spoken introduction. I tried filming it but it ran out half way through. The other DBT song we got was Used To Be A Cop. Craig's...
The Mattador was indeed missed last night at MSG. There's nothing quite like the E-Street Band and Bruce Springsteen is crazy in all the best possible ways. m I Was Uncle Rickey and Cooley Girl type close. Check out the video at approx :10 where I'm scratching my nose before back to punching the gi...
Thank you very much to everyone involved in taping/distributing this, great to be able to hear this 3 days later sat in a room half way around the world!
My dream collection would be a multi-disc box spanning their entire career. You mean like this? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/0/04/Bruce_Springsteen_Live_75-85.jpg/220px-Bruce_Springsteen_Live_75-85.jpg It would be much easier for DBT, as I doubt they'd be as precious as to go in a...
Opening band Dan Michaelson and the Coast Guard sucked I'm afraid to say. About as mellow as you can get with three guitars, too much treble, any distortion at all would have been welcome. They seem to be doing the Cartoon Gold and Box of Spiders mini-acoustic bit as a regular item. Saw it in Vanco...
That was an awesome show, by far the best of the 5 I've seen (the last 3, plus Birmingham and London last year), in all honesty I doubt I'll see them top that, certainly in England. Typical Bristol crowd, very lively and up for a good night, and the band had a great time as a result. Haven't counted...
I actually loved the fact it was a power trio, but a browse through my music collection reveals a fair few of those so no real surprises there! He could've played that guitar a little louder, but I don't think the poor amp would've put up with it! Dress Blues was a real highlight, worth the admissio...
Got home to Devon an hour or so ago after two great evenings in London. The Secret To A Happy Ending was an enjoyable hour and a half. I'm not sure it'll stand up to regular repeated viewing, few music documentaries do, but there's some great performances included. Space City the absolute highlight....
See you all tomorrow. Is anyone planning on going to the Rough Trade show on Friday evening as well? I'm staying down in London Thursday night in the hope of getting a wristband for the show first thing Friday morning. I'm planning on it, assuming i get to RTE early enough get a wristband. Wonder h...

Second show, loved Putting People On The Moon, I was kind of hoping for Sands of Iwo Jima but this was excellent. The 2 Eddie Hinton tunes were great too! People Who Died was off the scale. Just a shame it had to end so soon. Sound wasn't as good as in Birmingham the night before, but the band were ...
My first show too, and so many highlights I don't really know where to start! It was loud, even with ear plugs in I was a touch deafer in my left ear than normal! Great version of Ronnie & Neil, Hell No I Ain't Happy was a great choice to end the main set too. Loved the songs from The Big To Do ...
