Re: Terry Pace Benefit--Live Stream

Many thanks TDS. Sounded great up here in Illinois. I loved the acoustic format swapping stories back and forth. Let's hope they do this more often...maybe even every year.

Re: Jason and James in Bloomington, IL

I went to college at ISU and lived on the Bloomington side most 2 of my 3 years off campus. I am constantly seeing great shows on the bill at this Castle Theatre. I would have loved to had a credible venue in town smaller than the Braden Auditoreum when I was down there. Where is the venue located ...

Re: Jason and James in Bloomington, IL

Pretty fired up. Have seen Jason there twice past few years and saw James there last summer. I am with you, the Castle is a great venue with a great lineup every year! Probably my favorite place to see a show. And we are Cub fans in household as well! Suffering...

Jason and James in Bloomington, IL

Fired up for Thursday nights show. I do wish it was a split bill as love McMurtry, but what a great opener. Will be on the rail with the whole family!

Well said! As far as Neff returning, I also love his pedal steel and Les Paul work, but he made his bed..... I love the new lineup and hope they stick with it!

Re: Columbia, MO 4/17/2014 - The Blue Note

Yeah, thanks coach. Sounds like a good show. It's always weird when there's a rock show and nobody from 3dd is there to report it. Kind of like that tree falling in the forest. I hope we get some news about tonite's show. I KNOW tomw is covered w/ all those colorado crazies I can't believe I forgot...

Columbia, MO 4/17/2014 - The Blue Note

Great venue downtown Columbia. My first show there. Lots of balcony seating, and plenty of room down on the floor. The band sounded great and seemed enthused to start another leg of the tour. Little different attire....all wore suit jackets (except Matt wearing denim). Patterson and EZB did shed the...

Re: DBT Albums - Week 8 Decoration Day

Decoration Day was my first introduction to DBT. Received it as the CD of the month in the old BMG music club. I thought it was unlike anything I had ever heard. Loved it more with every listen and 12 or so years later it ranks as my favorite album in the arsenal (with Dirty South very close second)...

Re: The Pageant- St. Louis 3/29

Attended the Halo Bar set. Patterson and Cooley seemed really road weary but delivered an excellent although short set. Primer Coat, Part of Him, Made Up English Oceans, and When Walter Went Crazy. They stuck around and signed albums following. Even though I am sure they were beat from the last two ...

Priming for tomorrow night having a few and listening to Patterson's 50th birthday show on Sunday. Heading down tomorrow morning with a van load of family and meeting more friends and family.....about 25 of us total. Most going to the Halo bar for the acoustic show. Kind of a tribute to my best frie...

Happy 5-0! Welcome to the club. My wife (and I) spent her 50th at your show at Chicago City Winery in 2012 and when she had told you this after the show, you stated you were getting close. Here you are!

Yes he is. Sounds really clear. Thought they were cranking it up when Pat went with Lookout, but backed it down with Primer Coat and Part of Him. But that's great. Love both those songs.
