Re: 1 question for Sterling Bigmouth
Sterling bigmouth, I met my wife in Knoxville on Tennessee-Alabama weekend. She's a huge UT fan, and I pull for them as well. Our dog was named "Knox"! Swamp, you may be interested to know I went to high school with a guy who played for University of Florida in the '90's. Erron Kinney; he went on to...

Today I was driving on Interstate 10 (a road which I may have never or only a few times travelled previously), and this song came on Outlaw Country (Sirius). I thought it made for a remarkable coincidence!

Y'all make sure you watch Jason's interview on the The Daily Show that Kudzu posted above. Great interview. Name checks upstate NY as a place with a bunch of ignorant, racist people! I've been trying to tell you guys this for years. A wise man once said, "ya know racism is a worldwide problem." I l...

This is an exercise in memory and I'm not as well DBT-traveled as many of you. Virginia-The National (Richmond) and the Jefferson (Charlotesville) many, many times. I've also seen DBT at outdoor shows in both cities. Friday Cheers and/or Insbrook After Hours in Richmond and at the outdoor pavilion i...

Peter Frampton
I didn't see a thread on here for Peter Frampton. Today my six-year-old son and I rocked out to "Do You Feel Like I Do" on FM radio in the car. I told my father-in-law, whom many of you have met, hoping he'd have Frampton on vinyl, and he told me that he couldn't stand Frampton. I was suprised. I wa...

Re: DBT at The Festy, Arrington VA, Oct 7
My buddies in Virginia all go to this festival. One of my craziest concert experiences involves Love Cannon who is playing. Years ago Love Cannon was playing Floydfest while I was in attendance, and I told my buddies (we were all in a "music fest state of mind" at this point) that I knew one of the ...

When I initially posted part of me was a little worried Patterson would post (through Jenn) and send a hit out on me! If I hadn't met so many of you, I'd now be tempted to tell you I was a hot sorority girl with curves in all the right places, but y'all know that's a lie. "Sex on fire" was catchy (h...

I may have my 3DD password revoked for posting this, but.... I saw Kings Of Leon at Beale St Music Fest and liked them. Good show. We got "The KKK Took My Baby Away" which was a first for me. I know the set ended with Hell No. A lot of American Band was played. I was half hoping for GG Allin since we we in Memphis! Lots of folks were there, but I didn't see any familiar heathans!

I was watching the show last night. A buddy was streaming the show and projecting it on the side of his house. During the last song something happened suddenly. We thought perhaps fans had rushed the stage.
Now we know. This is sad, but I assume Col. Bruce died doing what he loved!

I've read Zen several times and Lila as well. I thought Zen was a great book. My favorite teacher in high school, David Zuniga, introduced me in a Creative Writing/Novels course.
Questioning the meaning of "quality" was I believe one of the book's central themes.
