Saw Lydia in Charlottesville last night and she played 4-5 new ones. It they're any indication, it seems like there's a stunner of a new album in the works.

All I've got is wow. Solid two and a half hours, no encore break, lots of classics, Days of Graduation (?!), an emotional moment before Perilous Night, the new Cooley song (love the back and forth vocal between Patterson and Cooley on the bridge), and a big burst of positive, rockin' energy from one...

I love that this new record has a sense of dynamics that wasn't present on the last one. more quiet/loud than just straight up loud. it's a lot to digest, but I think it's great.

Not that I have seen every setlist recently, but I have noticed that there aren't any Patterson English Ocean tunes and only a couple Cooley (MuEO & Shit Shots Count).
