Re: Favorite Albums of the Decade (The aughts)

My favorite records of the last 10 years would basically be a list of all the DBT records. But as good as all the Truckers' records are, this might top 'em all.... I love it that much.

DBT Tracks - Week #9 - The Opening Act

Dipping back into BTCD for a great Patterson track. This is a song I like a lot more now than I did when the record first came out. For me, this song really sets a mood and you can just picture the scene inside some old dark club. I especially love that last soaring verse with Shonna's back up vocal...

Re: Classic Cooley lyrics

The highway's humming in my head and it's hard to hear
Won't you read my lips if I pull you near enough
Could you read my fortune in the bottem of this coffee cup
Tell me how to tell when I've had enough

(Really, the whole song should be in this thread, but I went with the above)

In my experience, unless one of your nipples starts spouting milk, there ain't much you can do to help at 3AM. Nah Clamsie. For reasons not worth getting into around here, we are an all formula family. I don't really mind though, even if 3 am is a little tough, I think it brought me alot closer to ...

Oh yeah, shuffle, u reminded me of some "interesting" times i had on the backstreets board a while back. You're right, at least some really loud people really like "serenade" lol. I'm w/ you, Iowan: Disc 1 >> Disc 2 of The River. A lot of the disc 2 tracks are great live (e.g. C...

Re: the Springsteen thread

Am I the only one who thinks Disc 1 of The River is vastly superior to Disc 2 or is that a commonly held belief? I've never really frequented any Boss boards. I love The River and I think I like both records equally. Not sure that there's a common belief about one record being better than the other...

Re: Best song on The Big To-Do?

Here's how it works. You can vote once a day. Each song starts with 10 points. To vote, you must add one point to one track and subtract one point from another track. A song is eliminated after it gets down to 0 points. Eventually just one song will be left. Daddy Learned to Fly 10 The Fourth Night...
