Well if you feel that strongly about people and media who are critical of the church and draw attention to evil clergy, I expect you must have boycotted the Go Go Boots record. Nope, quite the contrary, while not my favorite album it does contain some of my favorite Cooley songs. Just like all muls...

I no longer keep up with carry laws, but unless things have changed, I think most venues (our size venues, anyway) are classified as nightclubs or bars, so it would be illegal to carry in Georgia. That doesn't mean no one does, just that it's not legal. Pretty sure in Alabama that bars/nightclubs a...

Keep in mind this is the same idiot who was forcefully removed ...

Kinda looks like this may have been the source of your failure: The Engine's Weaknesses Over the years, the MMC 3.0L V6 has proven itself to be a real workhorse capable of racking up lots of miles. Some of these engines have gone 200,000 to 300,000 miles in aging minivans! But the years and miles al...

which engine is currently in it? They made a 4cyl and a 6cyl for that model and it shared engine platforms with both the Lancer and the Gallant. That being said, what's the issue that's keeping it from running or can you at least describe the symptoms? a little info on the engines of that era: The t...

I tend to think of them in the same way I do vitamins/ supplements, they fill a gap. In this case the gap may be not being able to crank your amp all the way up because your neighbors would call the police or the gig you're playing at calls for saturated distortion at a level that doesn't hurt the l...

Re: One Of These Days guitar
So how are guitarists viewed in terms of those that use a lot of pedals vs. those that play more "raw" for lack of a better term? Or is that even a legit question? Personally I don't really care one way or the other, great tone is great tone. The only time it ever bothers me is when it takes longer...

Re: One Of These Days guitar
To me it sounds a lot like a driven amp breaking up mixed with a lot of wah pedal at the half to 3/4 + sweep. Cooley's pedal board is pretty basic compared to a lot of guys touring these days and I think he prefers to get most of his tone from his amp (Somatone Roaring 40). In the past I've seen ove...

Re: AC/DC Postpones Tour
I think it's more of a sign of the times mixed with genre/type of music. No one would argue with you that a 100 watt marshall can be a very loud amp, however even a 10 watt Fender Pro Junior can be cranked enough to do some damage to your ears (ask me how I know ;) ). I'm 38 and can attest that PA e...

My basic thoughts on the topic. The kids of today don't appreciate good music because they've never experienced good music. All the bands from your youth that you listed were viable and credible because to you because they were tangible. One of the great things about truly well written songs is that...
