Staying in Atlanta on Sunday to take in the sceneary, eat, drink, bum around, and watch football. So flying in on Thursday and not flying back until Monday afternoon.
Any recomendations on what part of Atlanta to stay? Is Buckhead a safe bet?

Re: Bavaria Ass-Whuppin' (Munich)
Bavaria Ass-Whuppin’ At first glance our favourite band must have felt like in the bad (good) old days. Small venue, small stage, small crowd (ca. 100 - ), big white males, big “white-beer”-bottles (Munich locals call it “Helles”), the girls outnumbered by far. And when the show started with “Plast...

I'm really digging the song. I don't know that it will ever knock my socks off, but I don't think that is the intention of it. I didn't feel that TBTD had that grimey, dark element to its musical style which I typically like to be present in DBT albums. Some of the subjects were dark, but the playin...

The AMC Theatre 30 in Barrington, Illinois is always very open to showing both major motion pictures to independent films. It's actually one of the fews in the Northwest Suburbs that does so. Another viable option in Chicago is the famous Music Box theatre. I would love to catch this film within 2-3...

http://pitchersandpoets.com/2010/09/21/talking-baseball-with-jason-isbell/ I take high offense to the interviewers notion that Skip Carray was boring to listen to. Skip was great. Harry was great as well, but in a sloppy not so PC sense. Now Chip....well that is a different story. World class douche.

Great pics of The Henry Clay People. Probably one of the more enjoyable opening bands that I've seen open for the Truckers.
They really brought it at the Pabst last Friday night and made a fan out of me. They have a Hold Steady sensibility with better vocals.
