Re: April Tour Dates

Nice that they're coming back to World Cafe Live in Wilmington (Delaware). Love that venue. In for that one plus hopefully one of the DC shows. I have never been to the one in Wilmington. The one in Philadelphia is amazing. I will be taking a friend and my father to their first real official "ROCK ...

Glide - interview with Cooley and review http://www.glidemagazine.com/171536/drive-truckers-american-band-taking-american-stand-interview/ "no question, the best DBT record to date." As much as I want to love AB (and I've only heard the pre-release tracks so far), I just cannot imagine any conceiva...

First time I have to miss a local show in years. The wife will be days from our firstborn. Have fun in Philadelphia everyone. If anyone can record, that'd be much appreciated. Here's hoping to a York or Lancaster show next year :-)

Re: DBT to play at Democratic National Convention

I don't buy the slippery slope analogy with regards to gun control; the government was given an "inch" in 1934 and have yet to "take a mile", so I think we're OK. It seems to me it's more give the government an inch and by the time a bill is passed, they only have a quarter left. Not to be disrespe...

Re: DBT to play at Democratic National Convention

Thank you for the links and insight to your opinions. I like to think most of us are in favor of reasonable control. My concern with the government and gun ownership is that if you give an inch they take a mile. I work for the government, so I can definitely state this is the truth. I am a gun owne...

Re: DBT to play at Democratic National Convention

My thoughts are as follows. 3EB WAS a really, really good band in the mid to late 90s. Their self-titled album is a classic in my opinion. Every track on that album is great. If someone left you or you're going through some form of loss, that album really hits home. Ever since, they have spiraled. T...

Great show last night. Thanks to the person who recorded it; I know you were right next to me but I didn't get to speak to you too much. It's always a treasure to own the shows I attended. Cooley seemed to be in great spirits despite the trouble with the train from Philadelphia. The venue was nothin...

Cooley Solo (DC)

Anyone else going to the show in D.C.? I'll be the first to admit I know very little about D.C. but seeing as it is a Friday and that I have always wanted to see a solo show I am definitely in. Looks like the show is close to the 9:30. Anyone ever been there before? How is parking? Suggestions? Hope...

Re: Merriweather

So I just got back from Merriweather Post Pavillion and saw Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit for the fourth time. It was a good, solid set. My wife, father and I were out on the lawn. I have to admit that while I love Merriweather, I am not sold that it is the appropriate venue to see Jason. Don't get me...

Re: 9:30 Club Shows - DC - March 4-5, 2016

Totally psyched for tomorrow. Taking my good friend for his first DBT show. I saw the last go around at the 9:30 and was shocked at the length of the show, clocking in around 3+ hours. I've seen DBT 6 times and they always play 2 hours plus or minus at those shows. Do they tend to always play longer...

Dylan Leblanc - Philadelphia, PA (free tickets)

Hey everyone. I have two tickets to see Dylan Leblanc at the World Cafe Live upstairs in Philadelphia at WXPN. The venue holds about 100 people. I do not think I can make the show so I thought I would offer on here. Tickets cost me $10 each. If you'd be willing to help me recoup a few dollars of my ...

DBT should have been the headliner. Shakes have a ton of talent but it all starts to sound the same to me. I could have listened to DBT all night. I think I made my father a fan,

Great show. We were one of the first in line and we were given access to the VIP balcony which was nice. I am still debating about whether or not I would rather stand at a DBT show. Re: Rochester, NY (2015)

I do not think there is an opener. They will occasionally just play themselves and since this is a "stop" in between Eric Church dates (I think if memory serves me right) there won't be. I am hoping for a 9:00 start so they can play longer. :-)

Re: First Eric Church Show 3/4

I was considering the Wilkes-Barre, PA show but changed my mind after I listened to some of Eric Church's music. I'm sorry but I do not get the appeal. I decided to drive the five hours to Rochester to see a legit "Rawk show".
