Re: Memphis -- Friday, September 17th

I sure hope to be at this show. I drove to Cain's in Tulsa and got there late, near the encore, then left Little Rock on church business just in time to both not get to Minneapolis in time for the Petty/DBT show and miss the Little Rock show where the power went out and they did "Bulldozers and...

Re: SRO in 2011

If the album came out on 9/11 (I thought 9/12), does that mean my memory of buying it and Love and Theft at the Vinyl Solution in Tuscaloosa is correct? I'd love it to be.

Re: tulsa 6/19

Cain's isn't sold out, is it, just because I can't get tickets online?

Re: After the scene dies - lyrics question

The club becomes an Old Navy, not a fast food place. I think it's just an unmistakeable reference to ordering fast food and what you take away from it is yours.

Re: which lineup did you see first?

My first shows were the two-night stand at the Fillmore with the Hold Steady in 2008, so the current lineup is all I know. It's good enough for me.
