I got to see Jason Isbell today at Merlefest in Wilkesboro, NC. It was a great short set with some new stuff and a couple of old ones (Decoration Day and Never Gonna Change). He played some killer slide guitar with some great playing by Sadler Vaden as well. Nice time!

After missing last year my wife and I are back in for Friday and Saturday.

This discussion fits well with the one on which songs should have made the cut for top 35 on the new live record. Other than "wig" I don't have a problem with this list. The thing about DBT is that I could pick a different top 12 for a different mood and still be happy.
