Re: Southern Rock Opera Redux

This might be a game changer on my plans for the year.
Almost certainly it's not going to make it to Europe, and certainly not this year.
Soooo... plans may need planned.

Re: Drinking Coke and Eating Ice & other Lost Cooley Classics

Agree on 2:18 to Denver. Definitely had the makings of a classic Cooley song. Did it get played beyond the second Dirt Underneath tour? Perhaps one he thinks is unfinished, isn't good enough, or just hasn't fitted anything the band are doing.

Secured tickets for all four nights using the equivalent of dial up internet on my phone while on a train... glad it was easier and didn't miss the (self created) stress of the pre-sale... although if i had known here was a pre-sale that would have been a thing! Still seems odd to me that the band d...

Gutted to read this when I got in this evening. Such a talent, be it solo, with Chicken Shack, or Fleetwood Mac.
Glad I spent more money on a ticket than I ever thought I would to see the Mac on the last tour with the classic lineup.

Setlist was also missing 3DD.

A quick look shows 44 unique songs out of the 51 played at this halfway point. Even better is 7 of these are from the new album, which is shaping up to be very good indeed.

Got Wednesday and Thursday nights for HC eventually, more than I was expecting after the site said nothing available after about 3 minutes.

Can the presale for 2023 happen at the 40 Watt on the Saturday night after 2022 HC ends? 🤣

Re: Where will first DBT show be when things open again?

Barring some kind of miraculous speed up of vaccination in Europe, those first shows back definitely won't be over here. Full capacity shows here aren't allowed until 21 June (at the earliest), though socially distanced gigs can happen before. I'd certainly hope all of the DBT shows have sold too we...

I don't know if it's something they've considered, but The Hold Steady did a three night run of livestreamed shows from Brooklyn Bowl in place of the originally planned Massive Nights 5. $15 per show, with fans able to join virtually via Zoom so the band had some interaction, seeing into peoples hom...

The venue isn't going to get any bigger, they aren't going to move to another room. The only other change they could make, maybe, would be to do as they did at Brooklyn Bowl in the summer, two 3 night runs. I'm not sure even that would solve the issue as pretty sure there's a good number who would e...
