There was just no way there could be a happy ending. It was never "ment to be". May not be the ending. They want to do a...

Pre season polls are bad enough, but ranking teams which haven't played in the same poll w/ other teams that have played as many as 4 games? Absurd. It puts a fine point on how much of an opinion poll this is (and always has been) Or as some might say, a guessing game ruled by hype and reputation.

Early voting in Texas started today at 7am. I was in line at 640am. There were several hundred people ahead of me. By the time the polls opened there were at least another hundred behind me. I waited in line for a bit over two hours to cast my ballot. It was wonderful. Cathartic. Amazing. I've been...

The Bureau is a French spy series that I hadn't heard of and kind of stumbled into. The first season was very good - very intense and totally absorbing. We didn't quite binge it (too intense for more than a couple of episodes at a time) but on the other hand we finished all 10 episodes in just over...

Yeah, the crickets were great.

"religious liberty" has come to mean "religious intolerance" or "some religions are better than others" Coincidentally, David Von Drehle's op-ed in today's WaPo is on point. I would actually go as far as to say the horns theme on Sea Island Lonely is a strong nod to Otis' Sad Song.

The song is called Primer Coat. I think the music fits it well. Nice. And pithy too. Groupthink isn't healthy. Especially when it comes to politics. Words to the wise. The only overtly political songs on the album are Sarah’s Flame and, of course, The Perilous Night. I suspect PH has spent a lot more time than we appreciate picking songs and sequencing them for this release.
