Re: NPR piece from Patterson

What a massive eye roll. Couldn't get through that entire piece. It's been a week since I read it and I'm still shaking my head. I, too, shake my head in admiration. Patterson found a way to put DBT in the public eye in hard times without saying anything untrue or unfelt, with generosity to the des...

Re: RIP John Prine

Great write up by "Mr Shires" on Prine https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/09/opinion/john-prine-jason-isbell.html A few years ago, my wife, Amanda, was touring in Scandinavia with John Prine, and when they arrived in Sweden she saw him write “songwriter” on his customs form as his occupation. “When did...

Re: dbt tracks 86 AFTER the Scene Dies

So what are we gonna do when the clu...

Re: The Neverending Thread for Political Shit

I disagree with Gov. DeWine on most everything (politically), but he has been a great example of leadership during this pandemic. He has Ohio out ahead of most other states in terms of readiness and prevention, not waiting for guidance from Cheeto-in-Chief I'm from Ohio and I second this, he's done...

Re: New Letter From Patterson 1/18/2020

I've been surprised by the reaction to the new record. Is it as good as Decoration Day? No, but it's still solid. I think a lot of these songs will grow on people as time passes.
