I’m glad this is a safe space where I feel it is OK to say I’m not feeling the title cut.

Looking forward to the record.

No where to go but up from that single!

Re: Seattle 2/19 & 2/20

A quick glance at the setlists from this tour show that Patterson is only up 26-21 over Cooley in unique songs played. Lots of repeats from Hood (Santa Fe, Righteous Path, LTBR, Plastic Flowers and the new songs being repeated a lot) Fair enough. I think I harp on Cooley more because he lets his be...

Re: RIP LBROD

I met Rod at Homecoming in 2019 when he gave me a lift from the airport to Athens. He was insistent that he did not need GPS, and we got very lost. As the 90 minute drive became a 3 hour drive, Rod schooled me in everything from DBT history to problematic California light rail projects. We rolled in...

Re: 2020 Tour Dates! THERE ARE SO MANY

It crossed my mind earlier in the week that they may cancel the next batch of shows, but last night kind of sealed the deal for me. It was surreal watching the postponement of the NBA season in real time. I had tickoots to the Chi show with eyes on Saturday in MN as well, but decided this AM to stay...

Re: The Neverending Thread for Political Shit

I don't really have an argument here other than I think Biden and Bernie have been even more cringe-worthy at times. I think the writing's on the wall for Liz, as you say. I guess it all just speaks to the bleakness of the current situation. sWehvtOL_VI I wonder if Bruce will decide to live on the ...

Re: 2020 Tour Dates! THERE ARE SO MANY

I wish Cooley would mix it up a little. He just has too many incredible songs that are collecting dust to exclusively play the same 10-15 tunes each night. Saw a couple wonderful renditions of SDZ this summer in Toronto- band had a great time playing it and the crowd ate it up. Just wonder why a son...

Hi all, Figuring if anyone can help it's here... I purchased three tickets for tonight at the original on-sale. The tickets are at will call under my name. I ended up not being able to attend HC this year but need to get the tickets to my group that will be there (Zip Up to Michigan and two others)....

Awesome! Curious how long something has to go unplayed until it's inactive? They did do Panties in Your Purse at the Brooklyn Bowl last summer :D

The last two Chi shows they did were two incredible nights. Really enjoyed the pre and post show in Pilsen. Looking forward to it. Also reminds me that I miss Ever South in the rotation. 4/6/18 Thalia The Guns of Umpqua Ramon Casiano Puttin’ People on the Moon Gravity’s Gone Days of Graduation Ronni...

Drive-By “Fuck The Midwest” Truckers up to their typical shenanigans... Last time I checked Indy, Chicago, St Paul, and St Louis were in the Midwest The Midwest is comprised of 12 states. That’s four shows, spread widely across four states, with no two night stands. No Ohio? No Southeast Michigan? ...

Re: North of the Border

Tom, Big thanks for recording and posting these shows. I spent the weekend going through all 3. Ferocious is the best way I can describe them. I can't figure out which night was my favorite. They felt like Homecoming type shows. After a lot of listening back (I think) Night 2 has won it for me. But...

Curious if people think other shows will be announced? Coming from MI, I don't want to buy Brooklyn Bowl or Toronto tickets and then have Kalamazoo and Chicago shows announced in a couple weeks. Any thoughts?

Re: Homecoming 2019: Feb 13-16 (Thur., Fri, Sat.) Sold Out)

The shows were absolutely stellar. Better than I hoped for and there's really not much I can add to what has already been said. ^^^^ All true, in fact they were beyond stellar. I haven't had as much fun with a group of friends in a long time than I did last Thurs-Fri-Sat nights in the 40 Watt. That...

Road Cases and Greenville to Baton Rouge are at the top of my list that I haven't personally heard. Also any Dirty South deep cuts.

Re: Newbies--Introduce yourselves

Hi all! Always was aware of DBT but never paid much attention to them until a friend (3DD user Zip Up To Michigan) told me to listen to It's Great to be Alive a few years back and I fell in love with the band. Saw my first rock show Feb of last year at the Majestic in Detroit, and caught 6 shows sin...
