Re: Peekskill 2-17-11

Doesn't show this date/venue on their site. At least not yet.
Anyway, I'm totally unfamiliar with the band. Should I be excited?

Hmm, it was on there earlier today. Must be some i's and t's still undotted and crossed. Hopefully it will work out, very good band.

Looks like Marah opening for both this show and York.
So, don't pregame too long.

Re: RIP Bob Feller

Feller was very vocal about integrating baseball and was instrumental in getting Satch on the staff with him in Cleveland once the majors were integrated.

Interesting, isn't he wearing Larry Doby's number 14 instead of his 19 in the video?

Re: DBT at Xmas Jam

what Jeremy said, esp regarding the pre Jam. Other local clubs, Stella Blue, The Grey Eagle, and clubs in Black Mtn usually have good shows that Friday as well.

Keep in mind this thing typically sells out in about 48 seconds.

well, maybe not that quick, but I wouldn't wait long to decide.

Re: Bristol Rhythm and Roots Sept. 18

Cadillac Sky blew me away. I'm a little late to this party, bunch of sell out shows coming up in nice venues. You'll get your entertainment dollars worth.

Caught a nice semisolo set by one Steve Gilbert on Friday nite. Sorry I missed the full band set man!

Dr. Dog's crowd was Modest Mousey.

a little rain shower today to keep things green then perfect weather for the weekend. Looking forward to Todd Snider with full band (Vince Herman Great American Taxi) tomorrow night. m This is really a fine festival, always fun to bounce around downtown Bristol, really thankful it's in my backyard. DBT on Saturday, Todd Snider with Great American Taxi on Friday. Felice Bros, Ricky Skaggs, Darrell Scott, Michelle Malone, bunch of others, lots of excellent regional talent. Note: A...

Re: For you Cracker Fans

Chicago is one of Cracker's best towns. I know they love playing any where in that area, I've been to a few shows there, NYE and Cubby Bear, a street fest in Palatine and the crowd was always great. WXRT was an early supporter.

agree, great stuff, thanks Patterson.

of course Deer Creek is the shed in Indy, (Noblesville actually as noted), original name before it was corpnamehere amptheater.

it's funny, that club in DeKalb has been a running joke for dumbass behavior on the Cracker board for years.

yeah, I saw that same tour at the shed in Indianapolis. 'Mats sadly phoned it in, you could tell it was about 4 months past the end with those guys at that point. Re: GOD is beating me with his/her MARAH stick!

Kids in Philly, Lets Cut the Crap, and my overall favorite, If you didn't laugh, you'd cry. I'm struggling some with the new album, Dave Bielenko is such a great songwriter and the vocal clarity mix isn't what I'm used to with a Marah album. The band has gone thru many variations and often Dave can ...

Barr also said something about being afraid of Cooley, which I think was a joke.

they would draw better in Columbus if they designated it as their only Ohio show. That's what MMJ did and they packed the outdoor LCP.
