Re: The TV thread

I started Mrs. Fletcher at the beginning of quarantine and then was distracted. I finished the series last night.

Although I think that only one season was made, I found the show very enjoyable!

Re: 2nd tier FM radio dinosaurs from the '70s

I couldn’t find a “Yacht Rock” or “Guilty Musical Pleasures” thread, so I’m posting here. I was recently on an extended road trip with my family, and my wife violently cringed each time I would listen to the “Yacht Rock” station on satellite radio. The music may not be the best, but it’s a time mach...

Re: What's Everyone Listening to?

So I’d heard of Cracker for years in the DBT community but never really listened. A friend sent this song the other day. Patterson is playing in the video. The song would be a great homecoming sing-a-long.

Re: R.I.P - Charlie Daniels

Currently I’m listening to Te John, Greese, and Wolfman. I think that the first CD’s that I bought, when CDs were a new fangled thing, were REM (Out of Time) and CDB’s Greatest hits. According to memory, I received my first stereo in eighth grade, complete with two tape decks, an am/fm radio, a RECO...

Re: Last Movie Watched

I enjoyed “The Perks of being a Wallflower” last night. When I started, I thought the movie might be a cheesy high school romantic comedy, but it went deeper on many levels than I initially suspected.

Re: DBT Quarantine Livestreams

Something happened with my stream Wednesday night, but last night I watched the entire show and stayed up way too late. Like many of you I’ve seen more DBT shows than I can count, and I’ve been luck enough to catch multiple Patterson and Cooley solo shows, but I do enjoy these “themed” shows. I enjo...

Re: DBT Quarantine Livestreams

I am in no way trying to bitch or sound like a sour puss, but my stream was awful last night. I would often watch for thirty seconds or so, then have to refresh. I watched on a cell phone, because the site wouldn’t work on the smart tv. I joined in last minute because my wife had to run to the groce...

My son and I have been watching all of the Star Wars movies in chronological order (according to plot, not release date). I like Star Wars but am not a rabid fan, but I’ve always wanted to watch the movies in order. My son is 9 years old and is a rabid fan; he always reminds me or the characters on ...

Patterson played another new one on Willie Nelson’s livestream tonight. Didn’t catch the name, but it was an, ummmm, interesting one about getting caught with weed and women’s underwear in Vancouver customs. Can’t say it isn’t timely ;) I heard the song and enjoyed it...almost as much as women’s un...
