Re: The New OK - 10/2/2020 (Vinyl 12/18)

I’ve been late on putting time into the new album. I’m really digging sea island lonely. That’s a stone cold groove. I like it a lot, can’t wait for the day we are back at the Rock show and can hear it.

Well damn, that sounds fantastic! I’d say that’s as good of a win that anyone can hope for in 2020. Way to go Rod.

Re: Reefer

I’d say you are right Flea. I can just see a guy not paying attention and slamming it, no bueno! All of the sudden your legs done work and you’re high as shit, for a long time! That looks tasty, would be better if a bottle was 10-20 in my opinion, much more realistic is all.

I smoke a lot of weed. And one of those 100 mg will knock your dick in the dirt. That’s crazy talk chugging one of those. That’s crazy to me. And I am definitely a sativa guy. If i drank that and it was indica I’d sleep until Wednesday. Good for those that can handle it though!

Re: Testing

Iphone 8. It is weird because it seems like everything is stacked up on top of each other, like their is not enough room. Maybe if I restart the phone. It is just very odd and out of order, almost like everything is compressed and does not fit.

Re: Testing

I am not sure what this new format is supposed to do for phone users but it is a wreck on my phone now. Looks like I will have to download Tapatalk, another app to add to the pile or just forgo checking win on the phone, which is a bummer because that's what I use most, but just not into another app...

Re: The Neverending Thread for Political Shit

Both interesting points but I would have to go with option 2 as well. As 305 pointed out, social media plays a big role in what is happening. I also think that with everyone so divided on how the response to Covid has been (the unknown of the novel virus, with the whole mask and shut downs that have...

Re: DBT Quarantine Livestreams

Unfortunately that scene at Lowe’s is becoming more and more popular. I witnessed it last week at Home Depot. I just don’t get why people feel the need to go out of their way to try and prove their political point about their rights and their freedoms while disregarding those of others. I too feel s...

Re: online concert streams - master thread

Just finished this. The stream is good until tomorrow at midnight. Even though it is not HD of anything like that because it was recorded in ‘85, it is a solid performance. I forgot how great of a dancer and overall performer Prince really was. Plus the crowd shots and big hair are worth watching as...

Re: Jason Isbell - Reunions

Thanks for the review. I’ll give it a few listens this weekend and see how it goes. Stumbled across this today. Pretty interesting reading about the home dynamic, I feel like this is one of the first I’ve read about jason in awhile that shows a little more of the human side, some of the frustration...

Re: DBT Quarantine Livestreams

I agree with this. It was Cooley songs that initially brought me into the DBT fold. I think the main issue I have with his solo performances is that some of the songs he speeds up the lyrics too much and it doesn’t sound right to me. It’s not all of his songs solo but there’s definitely a few that I...

Re: DBT Quarantine Livestreams

I agree that typing anything on a smart tv with the remote is a pain, but I have found if I put the arrow in the browsing window I can use the voice button to type in what I need by just speaking into the mic. I have a Sony, thought this might be helpful if you haven’t tried it already.

This place never disappoints! I came on here to mention the killer outfits in the photos, waaaayyyy too late. Regardless, good read and I for one am happy for his career and exposure, even if I did lose interest in his newer music a couple albums ago.
