I am neither, but a good friend is a VinoFile member who emailed the management mercilessly in the days leading up to the onsale. Apparently they are for real about the first come first seated thing, so I will be getting there before the doors open.

Apparently there weren't many tickets available to Vinofile members, as the majority of seats went to WFUV donors. I think a good number of these shows are recorded and broadcast (or at least put on the station's website), so there's that to look forward to. I'm in for this one, and catching the sho...

Last time I heard it was in Boston with horns on the tour with THS. Sounded awesome.

Just back from the ramble, which was about as fantastic a night of music as you could hope for. I'm a bit too tired for too much detail, but here a few notes. The Hinton songs sounded so big in this setting; for me they were the highlight of the DBT set. Everybody Needs love was being sound checked ...
