Re: Coronavirus - COVID-19
Last night I received an email from work explaining that I can sign up and possibly receive a vaccine later today. Only a few vaccines are available today, but if I don’t get one today, I should be able to get one soon. This all seems a little surreal... If I’m able to get a shot today, and Jonicon...

If ever I could write a song that had 1/3 of the success as that one has I'd open and close every show with it. In fact I'd segue in and out of every 4th song in the set with it. I'd encore with it and both open and close the encore with it.

Re: Fox Theatre, Atlanta 9/13
I will absolutely be there. I've never been to the Fox either and I'm looking forward to it. Has anyone that has been before done the Marquee club thing? Is it worth it or no? I can take or leave the Marquee club thing, it's nice if you're either running late (separate entrance) or plan to get ther...

Re: BUY and SELL HC TIX HERE
Posted this elsewhere on 3DD, but a catastrophic truck failure (Not that bad, but bad enough to mess me up for a bit) has put the kibosh on what I was hoping to be my first homecoming. I have two will call tickets each for Thursday and Friday, I will make arrangements for you (whoever you may be) t...

Re: Homecoming Thursday show travel help
as an Atlanta native this is what I would suggest. Saying you land at 4:00PM you can plan on 45-60 minutes to grab your bags and get your rental car. Now you are in Atlanta at 5:00 on a Thursday, pretty much the 3rd layer of hell when it comes to traffic so rather than jumping right out into it find...

Thanks for the intel. Keep 'em coming if you've got more. Coming to town from VT, we love alt-country, IPAs, Mtn biking and fresh local goods. There's not a ton of mountain biking there but there is a strong community of cyclists. Are y'all going to have your bikes with you? If so I can hook you up...

If you like hot chicken then the afore mentioned Hattie B's is great as is Prince's. I'm a big fan of the burger at the Pharmacy as well. Carter Vintage Guitars is a good place to spend a Saturday afternoon and many of Nashville's resident musicians are known to frequent there. Yazoo brewery has a l...

Re: Cooley's new guitar
His new guitar is a Scott Baxendale made Cooleycaster. It's a little different than the first one in that it's chambered and the top is made of Kauri wood, which Scott says is over 50,000 years old  and came from the peat bogs of New Zealand. My understanding is that the neck pickup is a Char...

we've used the my T muff style for both of our girls and had good success with them. The biggest issue is just getting them to keep the damb things on! Kudos to you for thinking about this, as someone who has tinnitus I wish I had taken better care of my hearing earlier in life.

Well he did say, “John Mayer? You don’t see a bunch of kids emulating John Mayer and listening to him and wanting to pick up a guitar because of him.” So there is that. I have to disagree to an extent, there is a huge audience that searches for his tone the same way that folks of my era (...

saw them last night in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome which is famous for its awful sound quality. Despite that they killed it, started 15 minutes early, plated for close to 3 hours and went hard at it the whole time. Axl's voice was strong, Slash killed it on every solo and the band was tight.

Sat night was the Wheels of Soul tour featuring North Mississippi Allstars, Los Lobos and Tedeschi Trucks Band. Guest appearances by Col. Bruce Hampton (ret.) and Jimmy Herring. All I can say is that if the tour rolls through your town be sure to go see it. Amazing show start to finish and all three...
