Back in the days when I pretended to like my family I could totally relate to this song.
I might listen to it at some point this week, then again, maybe not.

It really surprises me that you still see DBT shows that are only 2/3 to 3/4 full.dsmith73 wrote:It was a great show. My first since Homecoming which is way too long. I was a little disappointed in the attendance but I guess you never know what you are going to get in a vacation town.

To echo what others have said about Cooley rarities, he could put a band together and do a killer solo tour of just forgotten DBT songs that he never plays.

On the fence but leaning towards going to this one, anyone familiar with the venue? I'm debating between balcony and orchestra tickets. Any info is appreciated, thanks! I used to work there. Re: American Band- 9/30/16
Just listened to this for the first time in awhile. Parts of it definitely hold up well. I do find it ironic, though, that Isbell catches heat for "not rocking" anymore while this album continues a trend of DBT's recorded material mellowing out. Yes, there are some rockers on here, but Heat Lightni...

They played the next 2 nights at The National in Richmond (the Nuci's Space fundraisers DVD/Blu-Ray last year was one of the nights) and I thought they were really hitting a stride. Little did I know that they had just reached a new level. I watched this Philly gig before, great show! I was there f...

Re: Just an observation...
I feel like this board is overly sensitive about Isbell's new fanbase. Who the fuck cares? Part of the concert experience is coming together with like minded people over the music you all love. There isn't much like minded between the new Isbell crowd and the DBT crowd, so attending a Jason show la...

I would assume there will be another leg around the Homecoming dates. I suppose eventually the "Darkened Flags" tour will end but really in name only. They tour on a regular basis whether they are truly promoting an album or not. Yeah they'll be back on the road, I don't think they can afford to st...

Anyone going to this show? I couldn't make it to Columbus due to illness so I'm going to try and make this one.
The venue website says the show is from 7-10 with a few openers, so I'm guessing there is a curfew.

Your loss. Don't go to a show and heckle the band you are paying to see. Period. Good for Cooley, I appreciated his comment. Last night was a blast. They were definitely drunk and sloppy but that's how I love my Truckers. I was front and center in Chicago so while I couldn't get a better spot, I de...

They were drunk as hell and sloppy as fuck last night.
After Cooley told a heckler to suck his dick, and then proceeded to fuck up English Oceans, I did something I never thought I would do at a Truckers show.
I walked out.
I ain't even mad, just disappointed.
