Re: The Unraveling- New Record out 1/31

I live in the UK and have little knowledge or interest in US politics. Even though in the past DBT have written about deeply polital issues it seems to have been in a kind of universal story telling way that anyone could relate to, no matter where they came from. I find the the songs about specifica...

Cool! Nice to hear his perspective. Is it in Secret to a Happy Ending, Patterson says EZB doesn't say that much but when he does, everyone makes sure they listen?

Just come out here so I've only listened a few times but on first impressions, I love this! Good songs and a cooking band, I really like Tyler James Kelly's Tele.

Re: It's Great to Be Alive! Release Date 10/30/2015

I ordered the CD from Amazon UK weeks ago and was expecting it on Saturday. Yesterday I got this email in the middle of the night saying in effect I wouldn't get it until next year! I cancelled the order and ordered one from another seller which has been dispatched already. It seems crazy Amazon can...

Loving the record! And there's lots to digest that will keep me satisfied for some time. But one line from Patterson's Billboard interview sticks out. 'We ended up getting keeper takes of about 50 songs, and we took the best 35 of that for the record.' I wonder if we'll get to hear the other 15 keep...

Yes I noticed that too, I mentioned it the other day in the listening thread. I was so happy when I heard it. Great catch. I don't know the Clash well enough to have caught it. But now that you have pointed it out and I've listened to MS, I'm using it as a selling point to some of my Clash fan frie...

I get loads of CDs from US sellers on Amazon that are cheaper than you can get them in the UK and arrive in a few days. Seems weird the postage should be so expensive from the DBT site.

The line in "Shit Shots Count" is either evolution on budget... or evolution on a budget... Either way, what's it mean? Depends on who 'the boss' is, I reckon. To coin a coupla new words, that's practically cooleyian in its enigmaticness. Or maybe it's just beyond me. It's not the first p...
