The last time I saw them at this venue there was some ungodly techno-crap playing in the basement and it was very distracting. I hate to pass but the Truckers and their fans deserve better.

Since Levon's death, many of his live recordings have been posted on dime-a-dozen. I've noticed that he rarely plays "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down". Can anyone shed any light as to why?

My wife & went to see Cracker/The Gin Blossoms & The Spin Dorkters at the Polaris Amphitheater in Columbus. We only wanted to see Cracker but we stuck it out for The GB's and a little bit of the Dorkters. They were ungodly awful - we left a few songs in and I've never regretted it.

They played a show in Detroit's Majestic Theater several years ago on this same date. They opened with "Life in the Factory" after Patterson noted the history of 10/20. One of the best shows I've ever attended - I found a Jason guitar pick on the way out, too!

I usually go to shows in Detroit but last time I saw DBT at St. Andrew's Hall, some kind of racket was going on in the basement. It was some heavy bass crap that I couldn't stand. This time I'm gonna see them in Cincy. As a bonus I'll take Friday off and have a 3 day weekend.
