Re: DBTs at Cat's Cradle 1.31.15

I'd love it if they were to do an acoustic and electric set as that way we get the best of both worlds though I'm sure I'll be content no matter what they do. They did those a few times during the TDU tour. The Asheville show on that tour ended up being almost half and half. Not sure if on planned ...

Other than the show, sell me on Asheville in mid-January. Never been there. Great food, great scene, great beer, great people. Seriously, can't go wrong with Asheville, ever... Lots of good beer downtown, Wicked Weed is popular with the out of towners, but if you do not get there early you will be ...

Shaky Knees

Caught the last day of Shaky Knees on Sunday down in Atlanta. Was miserably hot, mainly because it was held in a parking lot with absolutely no areas for shade. People were dropping like flies left and right. But it was a great time and the music was awesome. Sunday I caught Langhorne Slim, Deer Tic...

Asheville is a pretty college town, but fuck those hills. Yes I drove the 10 blocks from my hotel to the Peel (and drunkenly drove home). I walked there Friday & my dogs were barkin'! Ruff Ruff! Fuck that noise. I took a cab home. Figured I'd save that fare on Sat. Dude, the downtown inn is lit...

An email? He could not even call Patterson on the phone and tell him. Or, since they both live in Athens, tell him face to face. Pretty classless move. I hope Neff has some money saved, have a feeling EyeCandy won't be paying him the kind of money DBT would.

The Vic chestnut tune was off of the Sometimes Late at Night EP. Strutter was a The Big To Do bonus song along with Girls Who Smoke, I believe. I Hear You Hummin might have been a bonus song off of Go Go Boots, but I am not sure about that one.

Best hangover cure in Asheville was Pisgahs Bacon Sout. But it's a seasonal brew and not currently available, but it was a heavy stout with a hint of bacon after each sip, and it did wonders to the old belly.
