Re: The Neverending Thread for Political Shit

Trump personal attorney Rudy Giuliani argued on Tuesday that the American public deserved to see reports based off material from Hunter Biden’s laptop “even if it isn’t accurate.” https://www.thedailybeast.com/giuliani-says-even-if-hunter-laptop-story-isnt-accurate-americans-are-entitled-to-know-it...

Trump on Rush does nothing more than rule up the people who were already going to vote for him. It’s not a way to add voters.
Imagine the consternation and pearl-clutching that would be occuring if former President Obama said "fuck" live on the public airwaves.

Re: The TV thread

I finished watching Breaking Bad, and have started Better Call Saul. BCS is fun, but as with any prequel, the stakes are REALLY low (as you already know all the people that survive, so any "life or death" situation is far less dramatic) I gave BCS 1 1/2 seasons to click, but it just did not work fo...

Re: The New OK - 10/2/2020 (Vinyl 12/18)

I suspect PH has spent a lot more time than we appreciate picking songs and sequencing them for this release. At least as to sequencing, Patterson has a well deserved reputation for the time, care and thought he puts into sequencing. If I try to take a stab at the feel of this album, it's warm nigh...

I do better when I don’t look at the speaker and instead just listen as far as being able to really focus on what they are saying. They say that in the first televised presidential debate in 1960, Nixon won according to the radio listeners and Kennedy won according to the TV viewers. Who are "they"?

Last night I was talking to my wife and said, "you know, I finally feel like I can kind of describe how I am feeling while we remain in quarantine." This makes me very very sad and very very angry. If this election doesn't end up in a defeat at least as overwhelming as McGovern's in 1972, then I think someone should stick a fork in our ass as a governmental entity.
