Re: Where will first DBT show be when things open again?

Received e-mail notice today that the June 25 show in Evanston has been rescheduled to September 3. I think that's a realistic date all things considered. It is too optimistic to hope that a tour starts by August and this is just one of many shows?

Re: Where will first DBT show be when things open again?

Hopefully wherever it is it will be a 2 or 3 nite stand over a weekend. I have a feeling a lot of people will want to travel to those shows and that scenario is best. As to where, Chicago is convenient for most people who will travel but I don't think it much matters as long as there's an airport n...

Re: The Neverending Thread for Political Shit

Coastal Democrats can’t comprehend how important guns and abortion are to people out here in the middle. It would blow your mind how many people I know that support universal health care, legal weed, campaign finance reform, and taxing billionaires, but absolutely will not vote for legal abortion, ...

And turd fans are calling for Franklin's head. Nevermind the years of really successful teams he has coached.... He's an awful game day coach Zip. Has been for years. He's a great recruiter and a great figurehead atop the program, but the team underachieves and loses close games year after year. Ok...

Re: Week 9, the formula 2020

Interesting week. 2 losers* are back in, Clemson's QB is out and Wiscy had it's ticket but it got cancelled. Boston looked good last week and I think they can edge out Clemson. BC - 28 C - 27 Mich over Mich St, 35 - 17 Indy goes to Rutgers who beat Mich St easily while Indy just barely squeaked by ...

Early voting in Texas started today at 7am. I was in line at 640am. There were several hundred people ahead of me. By the time the polls opened there were at least another hundred behind me. I waited in line for a bit over two hours to cast my ballot. It was wonderful. Cathartic. Amazing. I've been...

Not sure what you mean by "what have democrats done for working people lately." And that, in a nutshell, is the problem. I gave a specific example--the Tennessee Valley Authority, "a federally owned corporation in the United States created by congressional charter on May 18, 1933, to provide naviga...

Just call us deplorables and get it over with, man. Lol. And it really puzzles you why those people don’t vote Democrat. Yeah, because the people they vote for sure do have their best interests in mind. If two people plan to treat me like shit, and one of them insults me on top of it, the other wil...

Big 10 football kicks off tonight and I should probably be more excited but just can't seem to muster the enthusiasm this year. It doesn't help that my team is probably going to have yet another very disappointing season, with almost all new starters on offense. I expect to lose pretty big to Minne...

I'm assuming that the web site will auto-draft for me if I can't make the draft. (Hoping to do so, but not sure I can.) Just a warning for those of you who were planning on either auto-drafting and/or using the Yahoo rankings. Check your default rankings, they are totally screwed-up and you need to ...

The Revenge of the Republican Elites is upon us. Conway, Will, Mattis... If this trend or movement or whatever it is continues, it will have far more impact on the outcome of the election at both the presidential and senatorial levels than something like, say, Biden's choice for VP. So desperate for any sports activities that I'll probably watch the entire draft tonight and tomorrow. I'm hoping my Lions can trade down from number 3 to a team that wants a QB. That way, they will get an extra pick or two to screw up later in the draft.

That Moline show looks like a pretty cool venue, we should be able to make that one. I am intrigued by the 2020 tour schedule. By the end of July, 6 months after the release of the new record, they will have played lots of cities and venues that are not part of a "typical" tour schedule but not play...

I'm trying real hard to make it. If I do go, I'm also going to try to squeeze in one or two games of the big ten tournament quarterfinals that will be going on that afternoon, especially if my Michigan guys are playing. Let me know if any of y'all are interested in that.
